Volcano API

The Volcano API provides access to volcano information from the GeoDIVA database.

• GET /volcanoes: Retrieve a list of all volcanoes.
• GET /volcanoes?id={id}: Retrieve information about a specific volcano by its ID, VNUM, name, or official name.

Eruption API

The Eruption API provides access to eruption information from the GeoDIVA database.

• GET /eruptions: Retrieve a list of eruptions, with optional filtering by volcano_id, eruption_id, eruption start date (sdate_start to sdate_end), and end date (edate_start to edate_end).
• GET /eruptions?volcano_id={volcano_id}: Retrieve eruptions for a specific volcano by its ID.
• GET /eruptions?eruption_id={eruption_id}: Retrieve a specific eruption by its ID.
• GET /eruptions?sdate_start={start_date}&sdate_end={end_date}: Retrieve eruptions that started within a specific date range.
• GET /eruptions?edate_start={start_date}&edate_end={end_date}: Retrieve eruptions that ended within a specific date range.
